The BM 5A Compact is an extremely small yet very powerful speaker for post and broadcast production. Dynaudio Acoustics have gone to great length to ensure massive power and superior sound quality in combination with serious space restrictions, and novel research have made it possible to fit loads of power and quality into a very minute cabinet, defeating what was previously deemed impossible.

That effort now gives audio professionals an extremely compact nearfield monitor with uncompromising acoustic qualities, and fills an important gap in the broadcast and post production industry, where space often is the determining factor for installations. The BM 5A Compact is a great solution for the space problems that remote broadcast trucks/OB Vans and tight editing bays have to deal with.

Their small size combined with their brilliant performance also make them suitable for use as rear channel speakers in surround systems. In combination with the BM 9S it is also well suited for a full-blown 5.1 system in smaller rooms.

Powerful near-field in compact package
The BM6A features an electronic 4th order phase-aligned crossover with a crossover point at 2.2kHz, which feeds two high performance discrete MOSFET amplifiers rated at 100W each. The low frequency section is driven by a low frequency equalizer offering a choice between extended,critical damped response or more conventional higher Qt response for more level but less low frequency output. Included in the electronics is a complex protection circuit, which helps to prevent accidental damage to the drivers, yet still providing maximum transient response.

Thlso make them suitable for use as rear channel speakers in surround systems. In combination with the BX30 it is also well suited for a full-blown 5.1 system in smaller rooms.eir small size combined with their brilliant performance.

This two-way active analog nearfield monitor with a 6.9” woofer and a 1.1” soft dome tweeter delivers distinctive Dynaudio clarity and accuracy, exposing every audible detail for the critical and demanding engineer. Onboard LF/MF/HF placement filters, as well as subwoofer high-pass filters allow the monitor to easily adapt to any environment.

The BM 12A is a two-way active analog monitor with an 8” woofer and 1.1” soft dome tweeter featuring proprietary Dynaudio Acoustics neodymium driver technology. This model includes switchable EQ contour filters for optimizing speaker placement, as well as high-pass filters for use with subwoofers, e.g. Dynaudio Acoustics BM14S.
